Audience Member The most goofy thing ever. And I love it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review josh d It has problems, but it has its moments too. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Justin T The non-kaiju action was pretty entertaining so long as you don't take it seriously but if you've made it this far then you're not taking it seriously. Biggest problem is that there are a noticeable number of reused shots and because of this it randomly switches between day and night during a scene. Some shots were used multiple times within this film too. There is a really cool dam destruction scene though. Jet Jaguar is an interesting new character, certainly feels fresh. There is some violence that is unwelcome that just feels like it shouldn't be in the film. Oddly enough there is a tiny bit of nudity too which really was not necessary! Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review Audience Member In the annals of cinematic history, amidst the towering titans and legendary leviathans, there exists a beacon of brilliance, a creature so profoundly profound that it eclipses the very essence of greatness. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Megalon – the pinnacle of perfection, the zenith of zoological zaniness, and without a shred of doubt, the greatest thing ever to grace our screens. In a world where Godzilla reigns supreme, it takes a special kind of creature to steal the spotlight. While some may argue that Godzilla embodies the epitome of kaiju excellence, those enlightened few among us recognize the undeniable truth: Godzilla can go cry about it, for Megalon is the true sovereign of the monster realm.Let us delve into the depths of Megalon's magnificence, shall we?First and foremost, Megalon’s aesthetic allure is unparalleled. With a design that defies conventional norms and transcends mere mortal comprehension, Megalon stands as a testament to the boundless creativity of the human imagination... or lack thereof. From its majestic mandibles to its resplendent rostrum, every aspect of Megalon’s appearance exudes an aura of awe-inspiring absurdity. Who needs anatomical accuracy when you have sheer audacity? Moreover, Megalon’s formidable combat prowess is the stuff of legend. While Godzilla may boast of brute strength and atomic breath, Megalon employs a more... shall we say, unconventional approach to battle. Who needs finesse when you can simply drill your adversaries into submission? Megalon’s signature drill hands are not only a marvel of engineering but also a symbol of innovation in the field of monster mayhem. Take that, physics! But perhaps, dear reader, what truly sets Megalon apart is its profound philosophical depth. While lesser monsters may be content with mindless destruction and territorial disputes, Megalon challenges the very fabric of our existence with its existential quandaries. Who are we, in the face of such cosmic chaos? What is the meaning of life, when confronted with the inevitable onslaught of a giant insectoid deity? These are the questions that Megalon poses, leaving audiences pondering long after the credits roll.In conclusion, while Godzilla may have his legion of loyal fans, and rightfully so, let us not forget the unsung hero of the monster universe – Megalon, the true paragon of peculiar perfection. So, the next time you find yourself pondering the greatest cinematic creature of all time, cast aside your preconceptions and embrace the undeniable truth: Megalon reigns supreme. All hail Megalon, the one true king of the monsters!
