After finishing Path of Exile's grueling campaign, everyone's goal instantaneously goes to collecting Voidstones and completing the atlas, the former posing the hardest challenge. Conquering the challenges of getting the Voidstones catapults players to earn significantly more currency to jump-start their build.

Path Of Exile: 8 Best Scarabs For Farming
With the removal of Sextants, now you only need to think of Scarabs. However, there are too many. These are the best for farming currency.
Apart from earning more of everything, you'll also unlock more endgame content, such as tier 17 maps, Uber versions of pinnacle bosses, and a lot more. This endgame content is a bit optional for some players, but everyone should try to finish it at least once, so you should start looking at collecting those Voidstones as fast as possible.
What Are Voidstones?
Voidstones are items that enhance your atlas so that it will drop more maps and increase the tier of those you already have.
When you get a Voidstone and apply it to your Atlas of Worlds, you'll upgrade all the maps in the atlas by four tiers. For example, if the Cemetery map is normally a tier five, it'll jump to tier nine with a Voidstone. If you apply two Voidstones to the Atlas, the Cemetery map would instead increase by eight and turn into a tier 13.
The upgrade cap for maps is Tier 16.
Aside from upgrading your maps to tier 16, Voidstones also give you a chance to get tier 17 map drops.
For every Voidstone equipped in your atlas, you get a 0.2 percent drop increase bonus to tier 17 maps. Since there are a total of four Voidstones, you can get a total of 0.8 percent on finding tier 17 maps.
Most players rush the Voidstones, so they can turn their favorite maps to tier 16 and start stockpiling them to run in bulk. Not every map is created equal. Some maps have some exclusive rare drops while some are just seen as fillers.
How To Get The Grasping Voidstone
After the campaign, Kirac will start teaching you how maps work and what you should do. Once you finish enough maps and have progressed to a higher-tier map, you'll eventually encounter the Maven. She'll give you some objectives, which are seen on the right side of your screen.
Keep doing these objectives by running the maps and keeping the Maven influence up in the map device. Eventually, you'll see the Maven and the Envoy on one of your maps. At this point, they'll introduce you to two different influences – Eater of Worlds and Searing Exarch.
When you reach this stage, you are most likely running tier eight to ten maps. Your goal is to keep raising the tier of all your maps, so make sure to get all the map nodes in your atlas skill tree.
You'll get some new objectives where you need to switch out your influences depending on the map tier you need for the specific objective. Once you reach the end of the Eater's objectives, you'll receive a Screaming Invitation.
Put the Screaming Invitation inside the map device and activate it. Going through the portal will lead you to the Eater of Worlds' pinnacle boss encounter. Once you defeat the Eater, you'll get the Grasping Voidstone.
How To Get The Omniscient Voidstone
The way to get the Omniscient Voidstone is similar to the previous one. You'll get the same objective where you need to go through certain map tiers using the Searing's influence in the map device. Once you reach the end (tier 16), you'll get an Incandescent Invitation.
Put the Incandescent Invitation in your map device, and it'll work similarly to the Screaming Invitation earlier. Defeat the Searing Exarch pinnacle boss to get the Omniscient Voidstone.
In the fight against Searing, if you ever die through the fireball phase, you can wait until the phase finishes before releasing. Only release when the phase finishes, so you can skip it entirely.
How To Get The Ceremonial Voidstone
The Ceremonial Voidstone drops from the normal version of the Maven. If you have noticed the Maven's first line of quests or objectives, you must finish different maps while applying the Maven's influence in your map device.
The Maven forces you to pick different maps, so she can transfer those slain map bosses inside her Crucible.
For example, if you run Crimson Temple and defeat the Sanguine Siren (the map boss) while the Maven's influence is active, you'll see a progress bar in your map device under the Maven's influence. Once you fill it up, you'll get a Maven's Invitation. Put the invitation in the map device, and then it should take you to the Maven's Crucible.
In the Maven's Crucible, you'll fight all the map bosses you have defeated. These bosses fight you in pairs, but if you don't defeat them fast enough, the other bosses will start to join the fight. After finishing the encounter, you'll get some amazing loot (all the bosses combined) and some Crescent Splinters.
Ten Crescent Splinters will instantly turn into the Maven's Writ, which is then used to fight the Maven.
fter the first Maven's Invitation from the initial objective, you won't get the invitation drop anymore. Instead, you'll just need to talk to Kirac to activate the Maven's Invitation.
Make sure to turn the Maven's Invitation into a rare one using an Orb of Alchemy. This improves the loot of the whole encounter.
Once you have the Maven's Writ, put it inside the map device and activate it. You will now fight the normal version of the Maven, who should drop the Ceremonial Voidstone.

How To Get The Decayed Voidstone
The Decayed Voidstone should be the last one you should finish as it drops from the Uber version of the Elder. Here's where it gets tricky.
To get the encounter, you'll need to farm the normal version of the Shaper and the Elder first. Each encounter, including the Uber version of the Elder, has a unique set of fragments.
Boss Encounter | First Fragment | Second Fragment | Third Fragment | Fourth Fragment |
Shaper | Fragment of the Hydra | Fragment of the Chimera | Fragment of the Phoenix | Fragment of the Minotaur |
Elder | Fragment of Purification | Fragment of Constriction | Fragment of Enslavement | Fragment of Eradication |
Uber Elder | Fragment of Knowledge | Fragment of Shape | Fragment of Terror | Fragment of Emptiness |
Your goal is to get all the fragments related to the Uber Elder. However, you have to go through two other sets of fragments to have a chance at fighting them.
Shaper's fragments drop from the Shaper maps – Lair of the Hydra, Pit of the Chimera, Forge of the Phoenix, and Maze of the Minotaur.
Elder's fragments drop from Elder Guardian maps. These are normal maps, but they have an implicit modifier that says "Area is influenced by the Elder."
Each Elder map is occupied by a specific guardian. If you are looking for a specific fragment, the name of the fragment is tied to the name of the guardian.
Shaper And Elder Fragments
To farm these Shaper and Elder maps efficiently, you must get the Remnant of the Past atlas passive skill along with all the map nodes available.
Use a different atlas skill tree, so you don't have to use Orbs of Unmaking. Once you have collected enough influenced maps, here's what you should do to maximize your fragment farming strategy.
- Run every single Shaper or Elder map once while activating the Maven's influence in the map device.
- Once you finish all four maps, go to Kirac and activate the appropriate Maven's Invitation – Shaper for the Formed and Elder for the Twisted.
- Defeat the Formed or Twisted invitation in the Maven's Crucible, and you'll get some bonus fragment drops.
- Use these fragment drops to fight the Shaper or the Elder.
- Repeat.
This strategy should be for players in the midgame. Those who already have the Voidstone should also add the Maven's Invitation - Feared to the rotation for farming these bosses more efficiently.
Once you have the fragments for the Uber Elder, activate the fragments in your map device to open the arena of Absence of Value and Meaning.
Defeat the Uber Elder and you should get the Decayed Voidstone.
The Uber Elder is one of the hardest bosses in the game. If your build is not yet ready, you should avoid fighting Uber Elder. The process of getting the fragments is very tedious.
